We understand that we are the beginning of the educational and professional journey our students take and we are very proud of what they go on to achieve.
We prepare our students for success and are delighted to see what they go on to achieve. Our students progress to some of the top universities in the UK, such as Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial College, UCL, Manchester, Bristol, Queen Mary and Glasgow.
We are delighted that a number of our students achieved their firm choice place with some outstanding individual results. While we loudly applaud and celebrate our students receiving offers from the top universities, we place higher importance on the fact that through careful and expert guidance and support, all of our students are able to attend the university that best fits their individual goal
D-Ivy was founded 1998 and has since grown into one of the best private sixth form colleges in Nigeria for A levels and GCSEs. Our students consistently achieve outstanding A level exam results, helping us to remain at the top.
D-Ivy adds value; our results are in the top 5% of students with similar prior achievements. More than half of our graduates go on to study at top tier universities in the UK, US, and Canada.
To achieve a healthy balance with work, most students need time set aside each week for other pursuits such as sports, hobbies, social events or visits. Social activities help each student find their place in the College and achieve a sense of well-being.
D-Ivy Sixth Form College offers a lively programme of visits and extra-curricular activities that complement the academic curriculum. While staying with us, students will have a great cultural experience and come away with memories of D-Ivy that will last a lifetime.
The support at D-Ivy Sixth Form College takes many shapes; from day to day interactions with your subject tutors to your Senior Tutor maintaining an overview of your overall progress; from experienced and informed university application advice to expert English for Academic Purposes tuition.
Supervised study periods
If a student is encountering problems organising study time and keeping on top of work, supervised study periods are often of great benefit. These may be introduced as part of the weekly timetable at the request of a student or tutor. Work is completed on assignments set by the tutor and supervised by a member of staff, normally in the School library.
This can be a daunting and complicated process-but it needn’t be. At D-Ivy Sixth Form College, we are happy to help and guide students through the application process and ensure they are on the right path for their dream career. We provide the needed support and preparation to our students.
The majority of students at D-Ivy Sixth Form College join us with the intention of going to a university in the UK, US and Canada so it is important that they have good advice and support when they apply to university. The College provides a range of help and guidance on university applications, and has a proven track record of success, with many of our students going on to study at top universities.
